A bit of fun as we try to reveal how we ‘try’ to work in the given conditions :). This happened 2-3 weeks ago on the Great South Wall, Dublin Ireland. The theme for the shoot was Minimal Chic and I believe Kim did a great job there withstanding the conditions. More shots can be found here: Kim Minimal Chic session with BigSmokeStudio.

It’s windy here in Ireland and without external mike we are continuously improving our standards – the more we do it the better we become :)

Thanks for watching – new session with Silvia coming soon :)

Great news, guys from Lightenupandshoot.com – Andy and Mickey will be doing their first and probably not the last show at CreativeLive. We did our workshops here with the dudes themselves personally in Dublin. Post on this here: Dublin Lightenupandshoot workshop. For those of you that don’t know – CreativeLive is the platform for workshops that can be seen live streamed to your place anywhere around the globe, well unless you are in China or North Korea – than that sucks! B&H is one of the main sponsors of the site and insures the high quality over the project.

To name the few, names like :

  • Zack Arias (if you are here and still reading this – you must already know Zack – he and his life is already an inspiration to us all. Thanks for doing what you’re doing :).
  • Vincent Laforet (If you read our blog you might remember this post here about him. More of Vincent Laforet recent work on his blog).

and

  • Tamara Lackey (she’s a professional photographer that creates authentic lifestyle photography, from children’s portraits to commercial and editorial projects – check more of her stuff here – Tamara Lackey Blog).

These should all ring a bell – they all did their part for the photographer’s society by sharing their knowledge via CreativeLive and their own workshops – now Andy and Mickey will do the same. They promise that they will show the new redesigned workshops with new teaching techniques, lighting scenarios and marketing ideas. I honestly cannot wait – the only thing that sucks – is the time difference :)

So if you cannot make it to Seattle on July 29-31st – at least book a night in and watch it here: CreativeLive event with Lightenupandshoot. Come on its Free !!!
